The B.E.S.T. Way To Make Money Online.

 If you've been around "internet marketing" as long as I have, you routinely see the same kinds of questions being asked about doing business online.

Definitely one of the "most asked" questions that I've read is:

"What's the best way to make money online?"

Let's see if we can answer that one once and for all.

I use an acronym to explain the "B.E.S.T." way to make money online that I'm going to share with you today.

Here it is -

B = Business Model
E = Education
S = Schedule
T = Tenacity

Let's take a closer look at each component of the "B.E.S.T. Way".

The B.E.S.T. Way: B = Business Model

Everything hinges upon you finding a business model to build upon. That's where most people make their big mistake from the beginning. They try TOO MANY things.

Sound familiar? Chances are you've made that very mistake yourself. I know I did early on in my online endeavors.

Listen to me carefully: your primary objective should be to determine ONE path you're wanting to take to build an online business.

To be sure, your business will ultimately consist of many parts. But just try to do affiliate marketing, online auctions, creating information products, setting up Adsense sites and buying private label products all at the same time and see what happens.

You'll be spinning your wheels and never getting anywhere.

What do you want to build your business upon FIRST?

* Do you want to create your own products?
* Do you want to promote other people's products as an affiliate?
* Do you want to sell items on internet auctions?
* Do you want to buy and sell reprint rights or private label products?
* Do you want to generate and sell leads?
* Do you want to sell advertising or generate ad revenue?

You can't do them all at the same time from the beginning or you'll end up getting nothing done at all.

Choose one overall "business model" to build upon. You can always expand, multiply and diversify your business over time after you've stabilized your business by mastering one particular area.

When you decide what it is that you want to do, the next item to focus your attention on is learning everything you can about that business model.

No one becomes a doctor or lawyer or accountant or even a cashier at McDonald's without an education process.

The important thing is this: learn what you need to learn and absolutely nothing else.

Think about the absurdity of this scenario: a medical student devotes some of his time to learning medicine, some of his time to learning law, some of his time to learning accounting and some of his time to learning estate planning.

Is he going to become a master at medicine? At anything?

The point is this: you will derail yourself if you try to take in every new "offer of the week" that comes your way. You've gotta learn to resist the temptation to go and buy what appears to be the best new thing to come around.

Listen, marketers are smart. They know how to entice you. They know how to make their product sound like it's the perfect thing for you. They know how to make you whip out your credit card and buy. That's why their marketers. That's what they do.

What you've got to do is stop giving in to the allurements and simply continue to educate yourself in the area you've chosen to build your business upon.

If you're learning to become a top-selling affiliate, don't waste your time and money on a product that teaches something that's unrelated – not matter how great it sounds.

Stick to what you're doing. Learn it well. And let nothing else get in your way.

The B.E.S.T. Way: S = Schedule

As you begin to educate yourself on WHAT to do, it's important that you make sure it gets done. Information without application is worthless to you. You gotta use what you learn.

The key is to balance your schedule with activities that allow you to build your internet business. In other words, setup a set of daily "things to do" whereby you put into practice the things you've learned.

Here's a brief example –

* MON: Write and send an ezine article
* TUE: Recruit new affiliates
* WED: Tweak your page conversion.
* THU: Conduct a list-building strategy.
* FRI: Research new ideas and plan.

That's an abbreviated schedule, I know. I'm just trying to illustrate a point: you gotta give yourself reasonable, realistic steps to complete each day of your work week in order to make progress.

Until you learn to put into practice those things you've been absorving in your education process you'll never really see results.

So, get a weekly schedule in place of daily activities.

And then, stick to it…

The B.E.S.T. Way: T = Tenacity

There's an old saying that goes, "winners never quit and quitters never win". There's a lot of truth in that statement.

To finish off the "B.E.S.T. Way" to make money online, you've gotta have tenacity. That simply means, you've gotta be persistent. You've gotta stick to it.

If there's one reason why people don't "make it" in their internet businesses, this is it: they quit. It's usually out of frustration because of a lack of results.

Want to know where that frustration comes from?

It comes from not doing the things I've told you thus far. When you don't have a clear business model that you are learning about and putting into practice on a consistent basis, it's virtually impossible NOT to get frustrated.

Results only come when you follow this system (or some variation of it).

Stick to it. Stick to it. Stick to it.

Do you want to be successful online? C'mon, get serious with me. Do you *really* want to be successful online? Then do these four things…

1. Get a BUSINESS MODEL.
2. Get an EDUCATION.
3. Get a SCHEDULE.
4. Get some TENACITY.

That's "The B.E.S.T Way To Make Money Online!"

How to write an PPC ad ! No. 5 of 5 articles

Your ad should call to action.

Look at your ad and ask yourself, "Why would I click on this ad right now?" In your ad you should create a sense of urgency  – limited time or limited supply offers or a promise of instant satisfaction.

The best way to do this is by using power words.

The keypoint is let your target market know what you want them to do!

You can use specific calls to action like…

    * Sign up for free membership now
    * Save on used sports equipment
    * Get MP3 players cheap save 50%
    * Register now and you save 20%

… instead of general phrases like…

  * Look here
  * Click here
  * Visit our website
  * Come see

… that tell people absolutely NOTHING about your site and if you offer tuseful information whatsoever. Your call to action should always imply what the customer is going to get (e.g., Get your INSTANT download).

Think of  what stage of the buying cycle your target customers are at, and use words that hit.

Are they still looking for information or are they ready to purchase? IT is important that your call to action matches what they want to do at this stage. If your target audience is still in the information-gathering phase use words like  "review," "guide," "find," "search," etc., and thenn guide them to a landing page that matches their search.

Try to inject your keywords

I am sure that you want to see good results from your ad, then I can tell you that it is extremely important that your ad contain the keyword that it is built around.

You can optimize your ad by placing your keyword in each of the three components of your ad: your headline, ad copy, and your domain name (if you can).

Here is an exsample with "baseball cards":

    Vintage Baseball Cards
    1000+ Baseball Cards 1952-2005
    Free Shipping on $50 Single Orders
    www.gotbaseballcards.com

(My own pay-per-click results have shown 50% more clicks on ads if the ad has the keyword in both the body and the headline compared to ads that don not!)

Plus you get an extra benefit of using your keyword in your ad because most search engines bold the keywords. Do here is the key -  if you want your ad to stand out, use your keyword in the title and description and you will get two great benefits from doing it:

    * Bolded keywords appear twice in your ad
    * Customers zoom in on EXACTLY the keywords they're searching on

But I have to tell you that there is an exception to every rule. Before you write you ad – always analyze the competition. Is every single competitor using the keyword in the title and description? If so, your ad may blend in instead of standing out. If this is the case, just use one or two words of the phrase you are bidding on.

 How you can work on your headline-writing.

The headline only contents a few words — Google gives you the least space with 25 characters; Yahoo and Bing are only a little more generous — so it is very important to think of each word you use -  every word count!

 When you start thinking of your headline – the keyword or problem statement is a good place to start. Suppose your website sells an eBook about dog training — your ad's headline could be: "How to Train a dog."

That's fine — and it certainly relates to a defined problem statement — but it could be improved. Consider these four techniques to use with your keywords to give your headline an extra boost:

   1. Highlight your biggest benefit. If your eBook teaches readers how to train their dog in seven days, this is a great benefit that you could highlight. So your headline could become: "Train a dog in 7 Days" or "Easy Dog Training."

   2. Paint a picture of the problem. For example, "Stop Dog Barking".

   3. Target a specific market. Your PPC ad should do this anyway, but your headline is a great place to identify exactly which market segment you are targeting. This will ensure that only the people you want to click on your ad (i.e., your potential customers) do so. .

   4. Add attention-grabbing words. Words like "Free," "Now," "Instant," "Bonus," "Order Now," "Get Yours," "Call Now," and "Limited Offer" can help make your headline stand out.

A good exercise is to write out several sentences that sum up your main benefit or the main problem that needs to be solved. Then eliminate words in each one until you've boiled your statements down to the absolute minimum.

Don't forget, your ad's a teaser. Its only purpose is to get the right people to click through to your website, where you can go into detail.

Step 4: Keep your ads to the point

Let's face it — Google AdWords' limit of 70 characters (including spaces) for your ad's text doesn't give you a lot of room to work with!

In order to take maximum advantage of the limited number of characters you must focus on including only the most essential benefits of your product or service.

Start by writing all the main benefits and selling points of your product or service. Then start pruning all the "fluff" until you're left with a benefit-rich description that's brief and to the point.

For example, instead of writing a heavy piece of text like this…

  An award-winning photographer restores old photographs without harming  the original print. Your memories will be brought back to life. We use advanced digital restoration techniques to restore fading images, heighten tone contrast, add color to photos, erase smudges, creases and tears, and add stylized backgrounds. All this we offer you at a competitive low prices!!!

What is the essence ? Think about the main appeal of such a service and you write a brief ad like this…

    Get your memories back to life!
    Old photos are restored. Low prices.

The first line explains WHAT the service is. The second line answers the important question of WHY people might want it.

Use your space wisely and try to write a clear, enticing ad that states a benefit.

How to write an PPC ad ! No. 2 of 5 articles

Here are my the first 2 steps to compelling PPC ads

If you want to use Pay-per-click ads to start driving highly targeted traffic to your site your ads have to be eye-catching and well written, and promise to solve a problem .

Here are seven steps that I am sure will help you to create PPC ads that really work!

Step 1: Write to a specific audience and solve a  problem

Remember that you are paying every time someone clicks on your PPC ad, Your goal is to make sure the people who click your ad are the ones you want them to do (people who want to buy your product or opt in to your email list).

Your offer or product is NOT going to appeal to everyone.

Do not make the mistake of trying to market it to everyone. Market your service or product to a highly targeted group of people.

It is vital point that you build each ad around a specific problem that people are looking to solve.

The more specific your ads are, the better the chance they'll be seen by someone who wants to buy your product or service.

Something else to consider: If you try to use the right jargon for your target audience this will greatly increase the impact of your ad… and it could also save you money if there is less competition for the "insider" words.

Step 2: Emphasize benefits, NOT features

Your target market want to know what your product or service does, and more specifically, what it will do for THEM.

When you are writing the text to your PPC ads, you should always try to answer your customers' biggest question: "What's in it for me and how will I benefit from this?"

When you're thinking about the benefits that your service or product offers, try to think of what makes it different from the competition. Find the points that make you unique and YOU will get the clicks.

If you sell a book that teaches people how to save money when buying their first car, don't talk about the features of your book (e.g., the different types of information included in the book).

Instead, talk about what your book will DO FOR YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

For example, write:

    Save $1,000s on your next car purchase!

… instead of:

    Tons of useful car tips!

The second sentence may be a description of the book's contents, but it's not nearly as compelling as the first sentence.

A Business In A Box Solution.

There are so many affiliate programs out there today, so how do you find the right product to sell? Before you start looking at affiliate programs to join take a pencil and a piece of paper and write down the questions you have. And when you find a possible program to join ask the questions and do a little research. Get answers – and then take a look at each possibility you have chosen. Remember that the answers will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

The first thing you can look at is the price. Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. Why do I have to pay to be an affiliate? It depends on what the company offers you. If you going to pay to get in the numbers of competitors will be much lower. How is the demand for the products, the quality of the products, etc? Ask questions. Do researches on Goggle find out if there is a huge demand? Find out if you shall settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

Second ting – when will you receive your commission checks? Every program is different. Some pay you directly into your account at once, some issue their checks every 14 days, some once a month, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

Third thing – How much traffic do you have to create before you get a sale. What is the sale per visitor? What marketing tools does the company offer you? Do you have access to affiliate statistics? This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate's site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.

Who is the online retailer? Find out what kind of company is behind the scene, is it a solid company you are doing business with or will the company be gone tomorrow. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. Does the company offer you special discounts if you want to buy the products? People who get the sale often know the products and use or have used the products. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

What about the compensation plan? Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee. Depending on the products but this can be very important for your earning in future. If you can build a team and earn an income every time one of your team members makes a sale.

Is it a low cost product or a high ticket product? Do you get 25% in commission each time you make a sale of 20 USD – that is 5 USD to you – or do you get 70% commission on each sale of 2000 USD – 1.400 USD to you. What about the marketing cost. How will you get the traffic? Do you know how to generate free traffic or will you use PPC. What is your marketing budget?

Mostly you will get 20 – 50% in commission, but you will find program which pay you 70% in commission. An example is YourNetBiz which is a high ticket program, which pay you 1.400 USD for each 2.000 USD sale. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should now be familiar with the most important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Remember to ask the questions before you join your affiliate program. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

Create valuable content and get the traffic.

All search engines are built on directing people to the pages they're looking for. This can be done in several ways, but the main one involves finding out what's on every web page on the internet and then give the searcher a list of all the pages that content their search terms on them.

In other words it depends on the words on the page. If you have the words on your page, then the people will come to your site. If the information people have typed in the search term is on your website — either in an article, a sales copy, or other content — the search engines will direct visitors to your website. So simple is that.

If your information is useful, these visitors will start visiting your site as one of their "Key Sites" to get information from.

Therefore one of the best ways you can drive traffic and customers to your site is by writing informative articles and then letting people post them on their own sites — for FREE!

Why does it work?

Well, you know that people come online for two reasons they want to check their email or to search for information.

What people are really looking for on the Internet is information. Of course you will see that some of the visitors will buy something but this is not generally the reason most people come online.

And that is the reason that you should provide good content – information of value – on your site. That is the reason why other owners of websites also are looking for free content of value which they can use on their site. They want to be high ranked at the search engines and recognized by their visitors as a valuable resource of information too. Provide good content and be high ranked in the search engines.

What should you write about? You will write about something that relates to the topic which is on your homepage – your products or services, because the goal is to drive traffic to your site and get visitors who are interested in your products or services.

You should remember that people who come to your site after they have read one of your articles will have interest in your product or service. You are on the right way to establish your credibility because your site offers good content, quality information to your visitors. This is the first step to create new buyers. You have started the process to change your visitors to purchaser. You are building an online business.

At Yahoo.com you find my page 1 – position 10

Use simple SEO and get high ranking in search engines.

How can you turn your site up ranking high in the search rankings and attract tons of traffic is a question a lot of marketers ask themselves.

Search engines use spiders to category and rank your site.
You have to make it easy for the spiders of the search engines. Spiders are not smart and can not see pictures or video or graphics. Spiders read text and nothing else — in your HTML code. Therefore you need to put your keywords in the right locations. You should try to leave a trial " a spider follow" and plan where you want the spiders to go.

It is your keywords in your HTML that the search engine spiders will look for. The spiders try to categorize your site and will try to rank it too..

You can make some "hot point" where you put in your keywords.

Before you choose your keywords you need to make a research. Take a look at the code by your competitors that will give you some ideas. (Right click and click on show source.)

What will your wanted visitors search for? Find the keyword phrases that your target market will enter. Choose a niche and go for it.

Here are some "hot points"

The first hot point is the name of your homepage. If you do not have bought a domain yet try to get a domain name that has the best keyword as a part of the name.

The next is your page title. The text between the title tags will show up in the search result as the title of your site. A good idea is to have your best keyword in the title.

Then we come to your headlines. Use your keywords in the headlines and wrap them in <h> tags. This will tell the spiders what your content reflects your title. This is a great SEO point.

Next hot point is the content of your web page.
The content is a …
